UGC Creator Rates in the UK (2026): What Brands Actually Pay

Real price ranges for UGC videos, TikTok posts, Instagram Reels and YouTube integrations in the UK — plus what moves the price up or down and how escrow changes the negotiation.

UGC Creator Rates in the UK (2026): What Brands Actually Pay

The short answer

Across the deals completed on Nexus, UK brands typically pay £120–£380 for a 30-second UGC video, £180–£620 for a TikTok post, £200–£680 for an Instagram Reel and £450–£1,350 for a 60-second YouTube integration. Bundles of three UGC ad creatives usually land between £380 and £950.

Those ranges are wide on purpose: the same brief can cost £150 or £600 depending on who's making it and what you're allowed to do with it.

What moves the price

  • Audience size — a creator with 120k engaged followers charges more than one with 8k, but for pure UGC (content you run as ads) audience matters far less than craft.
  • Usage rights — organic-only is the baseline. Paid-ads usage for 3–6 months typically adds 30–100%. Perpetual usage is a separate negotiation.
  • Raw footage — asking for the unedited clips so your team can cut variants adds roughly 20–40%.
  • Turnaround — 48-hour delivery costs more than the standard 5–7 days.
  • Revisions — most creators include one round. Agree the number up front.
  • Product shipping — if you're sending a physical product, allow for shipping time and say who pays return postage.

Platform fees are not creator fees

On agency-style marketplaces the brand's price and the creator's pay can be very different numbers. On Nexus the creator's fee is the creator's fee — brands pay one platform fee on top (20% on the free plan, 15% on Starter, 10% on Pro and Founding) and the creator keeps 100% of what you agreed. A £500 deal on the free plan costs the brand £600 and the creator receives £500.

How escrow changes the negotiation

When the brand funds the deal before filming, creators can accept lower rates with confidence because there's no payment risk. Brands get the content reviewed in-app before any money is released. In practice that removes the "I'll need 50% upfront" conversation entirely.

A simple way to budget

  1. Decide the deliverable (one Reel, three hooks, a YouTube integration).
  2. Pick the middle of the range above.
  3. Add 30–50% if you need paid-ads usage.
  4. Post the brief with the budget visible — hidden budgets are the number one reason good creators don't apply.
