Question 1

How does escrow work on Nexus?

Accepted Answer

The brand funds the agreed creator fee through Stripe before any filming starts. Nexus holds the funds and releases them to the creator once the brand approves the delivered content, usually within hours. If there is a problem, a formal dispute process with partial release is available.

Question 2

What does Nexus cost brands?

Accepted Answer

There is a free plan with a 20% platform fee per deal, Starter at £29 a month with a 15% fee, Pro at £99 a month with a 10% fee, and a Founding plan at £249 a year with the 10% fee locked for life. Nothing is charged until a deal is agreed.

Question 3

Do creators pay a commission?

Accepted Answer

No. Creators keep 100% of the fee agreed with the brand. The platform fee is paid by the brand on top of the creator's fee.

Question 4

Is Nexus only for UK creators?

Accepted Answer

Nexus is a UK-based marketplace priced in GBP with UK bank payouts, and brands are identity-checked in the UK. Creators from anywhere in the world can join and work with brands on the platform.

Question 5

How are brands verified?

Accepted Answer

Every brand uploads a director's ID or a Companies House or VAT document before its campaigns become visible to creators. Nexus reviews and approves these manually, usually within 24 hours.
